התלמידים שלנו נחשפים למידע אודות צה"ל באופן שוטף, משום שאנחנו מאמינים כי מידע מוקדם מסייע למתגייסים להשתבץ באופן מוצלח יותר ולתרום למערכת.
ההכנה לגיוס לצה"ל מתחילה בכיתה י"א. מדי שנה יוצאת שכבת י"א לשבוע גדנ"ע, בליווי מחנכים ומורי בית הספר. בשבוע זה התלמידים לומדים להכיר את המערכת הצבאית. השיעורים כללו כללי משמעת, פעילות גופנית וביום האחרון הכרת נשק ומטווח.
בכיתה י"ב אנחנו יוצאים ליום פעילות שמארגן משרד הביטחון ברמת הגולן: "יום בעקבות לוחמים". יום זה כלל ביקור במוצבים וסיפורי קרבות המועברים על ידי קצינים שלחמו במקום במלחמת יום כיפור, ביקור בתערוכת חיילות צה"ל ולסיום מפגש מרתק עם תת אלוף קהלני.
בנוסף התקיים בקמפוס יום הכנה לצה"ל. ביום זה נערך מפגש של כיתות י"א ו-י"ב עם קצינים בכירים במילואים. הקצינים הסבירו על מבנה צה"ל, סיפרו על חוויות אישיות שלהם במסגרת השרות הצבאי וענו על שאלות התלמידים.
אן ספק כי פעילות שוטפת להכרת הצבא ומפגשים בלתי אמצעיים עם אנשי צבא מסייעים רבות לתלמידים לגבש עמדה בנוגע לשירות הצבאי שלהם ולהורדת מפלס החרדות. והתוצאות מדברות בעד עצמן! קמפוס אנקורי אשדוד נמצא במקום מוביל בעיר באחוז הגיוס לצה"ל בשנים האחרונות.
