השנה יצרנו שיעור מיוחד עבור תלמידי כיתה י' בקמפוס אנקורי תל אביב: שיעור אורבניקה, שנושאו העיר הסובבת אותנו.

השיעורים השנה מוקדשים לעבודות חקר של התלמידים על אודות הנשים והגברים שקבורים בבית הקברות הישן של תל אביב, שנמצא ברחוב טרומפלדור מול בית הספר.
המצבות בבית הקברות מספרות במידה רבה את סיפורן של מדינת ישראל, של העיר העברית הראשונה ושל התרבות הישראלית. טמונים בו מקימי תל אביב, מנהיגים ואנשי ציבור, אנשי רוח, תרבות וחינוך החל במאיר דיזנגוף, ראש העיר הראשון דרך מקס נורדאו ממייסדי הציונות וכלה באריק איינשטיין, איש העסקים סמי עופר ואחרים.

מטרת השיעור היא לחבר את התלמידים אל הסביבה המיידית והעירונית, ואל האתר המיוחד שנמצא ממש מעבר לכביש. דרך המחקר שהתלמידים יבצעו על הדמויות שטמונות בבית העלמין, הם יפתחו שער וילמדו על ההיסטוריה של מדינת ישראל והעם היהודי באמצעות מי שעיצבו אותם והשפיעו עליהם כל כך.
